Capital One Shopping and Capital One Offers are once again offering boosted rates for Giftcards.com for today only. I’m seeing rates of up to 8.5% and 12X respectively, although some are seeing rates of up to 17.5% with Capital One Shopping.

Quick Thoughts
There are different tiers of rewards depending on what you’re targeted for and also based on what type of cards you’re buying.
For example, with my 12X miles offer through Capital One Offers, that top earning tier is reserved for Visa gift card purchases. Incidentally, Capital One Shopping and Capital One Offers are listing the TREATMORE promo code that gives a $10 Giftcards.com gift card when buying a $100 virtual Visa gift card, so usage of that promo code should still track.
On Capital One Shopping, I’m only seeing up to 8.5% cashback right now, with cashback earned through that portal only being valid for redemptions of gift cards, rather than as true cashback. Other people are seeing rates of up to 17.5%; it wouldn’t surprise me if Capital One Shopping sends out targeted emails today with even higher rates, or at least rates matching that up to 17.5% rate.
